Celebrate Grandparent's Month with the 2nd Annual Intergenerational Photo Contest for Amateur Photographers of All Ages.
The Theme: "21st Century Grandparents and Their Grandkids".
All photographs should include children and elders together demonstrating the importance of intergenerational connections through subjects such as family ties, humor, and recreation. Photo submission deadline is Friday, September 10 by 4:00p.m. No membership required. Open to the public. (click title for contest details)

Better Breathers Club
Thursday, September 16 ~ 1:30p.m. ~ Senior Center Dining Room
FASC is happy to announce a new support group designed for persons with Chronic Lung Disease. This program is organized by the American Lung Association and will be facilitated in Faribault by staff of Lincare, a respiratory care company.
People who should attend are adults who suffer from asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer, and any other resiratory problems. Caregivers and support persons are also welcome. Better Breathers Clubs offer the opportunity to learn ways to better cope with COPD while getting the support of others who share in similar struggles.

Bone Builders is an exercise program that improves strength and balance, enhances energy and well-being, increases socialization and includes a brief discussion about topics pertaining to health, nutrition, or exercise.
